Caspar-Wilhelm Albert was a skilled craftsman and an entrepreneur with a nose for future prospects. In 1873, a year of economic development, he founded a brass foundry and began producing brass fittings for shopfitting. Today C.W. Albert specializes in steel and stainless steel- and remains a family business after more than 135 years.
