Care and Maintenance

For C.W. ALBERT, quality means that our products require little maintenance but still hold for a long time.

For example, our rotating stands are maintenance-free because they are equipped with a self-lubricating device and do not have to be greased. But even in very mature products, proper care can of course help to maintain the quality. We would not suggest using nail polish remover to clean our products because it can ruin coatings and steel finishes. You should also refrain from using abrasive cleaners such as scouring powders which can damage the surface. We recommend to our Buyers to observe the following tips for care and maintenance:

Stainless Steel
Special stainless steel cleaning solutions should be used for stainless steel surfaces.

Electroplated Surfaces
A soft cloth and clean water are enough to clean plated surfaces – a neutral or slightly alkaline cleaning solution can also be used.

Powder-coated Surfaces
Powder-coated Surfaces.

Glass and Mirrors
We recommend a glass cleaner for glass and mirrors.

Acrylic Glass
To clean acrylic glass, use a soft cloth or sponge and clean water. Anti-static plastic cleaners also work. In both cases it is important to let the surface air-dry.

Wood and Plastic Surfaces
A special care product should be used for wood surfaces. In this case, the product should be selected to match the color of the wood. For plastic surfaces, standard cleaning agents are suitable.
